Principal's Update - Liberty Elementary School

Hello Titan Parents and Students,

Happy New Year!!! Please click here for Mrs. Feaster and Mrs. Byrne's welcome video!

We hope this message finds all of our Titans and their families in good health. I wanted to update everyone on a few things to keep in mind as we formally “begin” our new school year in a remote or virtual format.

Teachers have been very busy these past months taking various classes on how best to deliver their instruction to their students. This format is new to a majority of teachers. It is also new to students and parents. It would be in everyone’s best interest if we all show patience and grace as we enter remote/traditional. Communication, patience and grace are KEY!

Parents can go on Parent Connect to see who your child’s teacher is for the new school year – check it out!

All teachers will be reaching out to parents either through email or a call. Please check your email for communication regarding log in information, schedules, and Parent Information Night.

Next Up: Devices. The Chrome Books ordered by the District (15,000 of them!) are delayed. We understand this creates a great deal of stress for families that do not have or who are sharing a device. Please communicate with your teacher so they can help. If you are in need of a computer at home and have not filled out a request, please go to the CNUSD website and complete the application.

Here is the schedule for our Distribution of Student Materials and Supplies:

Just a reminder, we are distributing a week’s worth of meals (5 breakfasts and lunches) for all students 18 and younger who are in need. Beginning Tuesday, August 11th, CNUSD Grab & Go feeding will take place curbside at all CNUSD school sites, on the first day of each week. Students will receive breakfast and lunch for each school day. Meals are no longer free for all students, and students will be charged the free or paid price depending on their eligibility for the school meal program. Students need not be present, but parents and/or students are required to provide valid CNUSD pin numbers for all meals, just as we do during the typical school year. A student may receive only one bag of food per week. Parents and/or Students can pick up meals at any CNUSD school site, and are not tied to their school of attendance.~ TVES Meal Pick-up times will be on the first day of the week, from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.

Free: $0

Reduced: $0

Paid CNUSD student: $25*
